Pursuing your Passion Series: McMaster University invites Dr. Ali Sigal to share her story

Join us at the campus home of McMaster alumni, the Alumni House in the former President’s Residence behind Bates, to hear from Dr. Alison Sigal, a McMaster alumna who has combined her passion and meticulous research to found a federal non-profit organization called Oral Health, Total Health.

Dr. Sigal holds an honours bachelor degree in kinesiology from McMaster, a DDS from the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Dentistry and is currently in her first year of specializing in paediatric dentistry at the University of Toronto. She is incredibly passionate about her work building this non-profit from the ground up, and her energy is contagious. Come on down to enjoy a night of laughter, good advice and great energy.

Oral Health, Total Health is led by the students and faculty from numerous universities and colleges across Canada, with a mission to advocate, educate and improve the oral health care for persons with special needs. Oral health care has remained as the top unmet health need facing persons with special needs, and OHTH is striving towards its vision of a country in which all persons, regardless of their disabilities, have universal access to oral health care.
